Are you an experienced Farm Manager who has knowledge of growing fresh produce / salad crops? If so, we want to hear from you!

Our client

Our client is a leading supplier of fresh produce to major retailers in the UK. They're looking for a Farm Manager to lead the team and to work with the UK Senior Farms Manager to successfully manage day to day operations on the farm.

The Role

You will be managing the site operations, ensuring production targets are met in full, within budget and within quality specification. You will manage the team and maintain drilling programmes and ensure efficient use of seed, pesticides, fertilisers and water during crop production. You will also work closely with the Agronomist to develop and improve production methods to enhance the yield and quality. Work day to day with the UK Senior Farms Manager to help develop the growing strategy of the business.

The candidate

We are looking for someone who has been in a similar position in a Farm Management who has growing experience and good leadership and communication skills. BASIS and FACTS would be advantageous but isn't an essential.
