About the Job:

In this role you will be required to ensure the consistent delivery of innovative, high quality, safe, and legal products, which meet brand values alongside sales and profit targets. It will involve supplier and product management, maintaining technical standards and ensuring product quality is monitored and maintained.

Using your technical knowledge, expertise and judgement you will work closely with your commercial and development counterparts to deliver category unit objectives.
You will identify and deliver strategic technical initiatives and take accountability for key technical workstreams. The role will give you the autonomy to manage your supply base whilst delivering innovative technical solutions to continue to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate:

For this role you will have drive and ambition combined with experience in food technical roles and a food technology qualification at degree level. Experience within or supplying a major retailer would be considered an asset, as would any industry related professional competence. Attention to detail and problem solving are invaluable skills along with the ability to juggle and prioritise a varied workload. You must have a positive attitude and outlook.
