Job Title - Full stack Developer

Location -Peterborough

Salary - Up to £40,000 per annum

Hours - Monday to Friday (8:30am - 5pm)

Benefits -Pension, 25 Days Holiday + 8 Bank Holidays, Subsidised Canteen

The Business

We are currently recruiting for one of the UK's leading manufacturers of fully automated equipment for the Food and Beverage Industry. The business has a long history in the design of fully bespoke solutions used in the manufacture for some of the UK's largest Food Manufacturers.

The business is currently going through a period of rapid expansion, with their aim to double their turnover by 2028. This has opened up a range of exciting new opportunities at all levels for candidates looking to further their own careers.

The Role

The Full stack Developer will be joining the business' Software Development Team working to develop Control interfaces for their various products and projects. This will vary greatly, with work requiring the writing of everything from scratch using Python, Java and SQL.

The role will require the development of Interface software for Automated machinery & Robotics, designing the HMI (Human Machine Interface). Project timescales can vary from 4 weeks to 18 months depending on the size, scope and complexity of the build, with Developers working on one Project at a time.

As part of the role there will also be the opportunity to become hybrid after six months, with Mondays and Fridays in office. Furthermore, there will be opportunity to work in the Test Lab making sure the software's you design are functioning correctly.

The Candidate

  • Must have a recognised Computer Science, IT or similar Software qualification.
  • Must have an understanding of / experience using Python, Java and SQL databases.
