About Our Client
Our client is a family run business who have massively expanded over the last few years. They are looking for a Buyer to support thier functioning garden centre. They have a real passion for what they do to deliver the best possible range of products, at affordable prices, with great customer service.

About the Role
This role will support the buying team within the business. You will be given a range of giftware, houseplants, christmas products, clothing and visual merchandising products to look after and buy for. You will be able to support the team to deliver commercial results and savings, whilst building close relationships with suppliers. You will utilise your experience to support the buying of quality goods. Experience in an online environment would be considered advantageous.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a proven junior level buyer with plant and eCommerce experience as well as buying from the UK growers. You will be an effective buyer and understand buying plant products from different UK/European sources. You will be able to show your experience and track record of supporting the delivery of savings and commercial results. You will be able to show your experience in eCommerce.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have experience in buying/supporting a buying team in the garden/horticulture sector. You will possess a great attitude and be able to build long-term relationships with suppliers.
