About our client

Our client is a family-run Garden Centre that also has a Nursery attached, they pride themselves in self-growing the majority of the products that they sell. They also have a big emphasis on their local community, customer service is a big reason for this which requires their service to be second to none. They have been growing year on year and they plan to continue that as well.

About the job

The role will be based in the Garden Centre as a team leader, you will be completing normal day-to-day tasks such as restocking, till work, watering, and caring for plants while also offering advice to the customers. From time to time, you will be in charge of cashing up as well as locking up when the managers are absent, delegation to other members of staff will be necessary.

Ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have a retail background with a willing attitude and also be heavily customer-focused. Plant knowledge is useful within this role due to the plant care that will be necessary. Be able to work on your own initiative as well as be able to adapt to a team environment as well.
