Group Auditing Technical Manager | Fresh Produce | Kent

Are you currently a Technical Manager who enjoys auditing or an Auditing Manager looking for something new? If so this role could be for you.

About Our Client

We are working with a leading fresh produce importer who pack a range of fresh produce for retail and foodservice customers. They are looking to strengthen the technical team with the appointment of an Group Auditing Technical Manager, you will work closely with the Group Technical Director, Group Head of Responsible Sourcing and Group Auditing & Technical Manager to ensure all product is safe with regards to quality and legality.

About the Job
You will manage and deliver a portfolio of internal supplier facing audits, across various UK retailers standards, while driving improvement and supporting suppliers to achieve optimum food safety standards. Travel will be required to globally, 2-4 long hauls per year 5-7 days each trip and then 10-15 short hauls per year 2-3 days each trip. The candidate will coordinate, manage and deliver the Group Auditing schedule, to ensure the delivery of over 600 annual internal supplier audits, working to various UK retailer standards.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have at least 3 years' experience in manufacturing/production/farming/retail/auditing in technical roles, with at least 2 years' technical/operational experience in the fresh produce category. You have a Lead auditor or formal auditing qualification. Experience of Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury and ASDA produce technical standards
Will be familiar with retailer online systems such as TQC or Foods Connected or Food Experts
Ideally Spanish, Italian or French speaking. Good communications skills and a full driving licence
