Salary - Dependent on experience
Love plants and helping customers get the best from their gardens? Take pride in high standards and enjoy being part of a hands-on team? This could be the role for you.
They're looking for a Hardy Plant Supervisor to join their plant team. This is a great opportunity to take a step up, take ownership of your area, and play a key role in delivering a brilliant shopping experience to their customers.
Your role:
As Hardy Plant Supervisor, you'll support the Department Manager with the day-to-day running of the hardy plant area. That includes everything from ordering and merchandising to maintaining retail standards and keeping a close eye on how products are performing. You'll also step up to help lead the team when the manager is off, so confidence and good communication are key.
What we're looking for:
Someone with solid plant knowledge and a real passion for gardening
A person who has experience working in a garden centre or retail setting
Friendly and confident, always putting customers at ease
Well-organised and attentive to detail, who enjoys working with others
Someone who takes initiative, takes ownership, and isn't afraid to get stuck in
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily standards, stock ordering, and merchandising in the hardy plant area
Ensure POS is accurate and displays are well-presented
Provide excellent customer service, including advice and carry-outs
Use EPOS for sales and stock management
Manage slow-moving stock and support sale area setup
Assist with team coordination and deputise for the Department Manager as needed
Why Apply?
Be part of a well-respected garden centre with a strong reputation for quality and service
Join a supportive team where your ideas and contributions are valued
Enjoy a varied role with real responsibility and the chance to grow your skills
