Health, Safety & Environment Manager | Fresh Produce

This well-known and global fresh produce supplier is looking for an enthusiastic Health Safety and Environment Manager to implement policy and provide clear leadership for the development of a safe environment for employees and all visitors. They are looking for a professional with excellent communication ability with natural people skills to support and influence a wide range of people.

You will be committed to promoting a safe working culture, managing the standards, as well as being a member of the Senior Management team continuously striving for improvement, best practice and driving the safety culture, including behavioural aspects of Health & Safety. As part of your role you will have experience of training development and delivery, including IOSH.

You will work closely with the Senior Management team which will require you to have superb communication. It is essential that you have a proven track record of health, safety and environment management within a food or fresh produce environment and possess your NEBOSH certification and an Environmental qualification. You will be expected to have experience of dealing with external bodies such as the Environment Agency, BSI, Local Authorities.
