Horticulture General Manager

Our client is looking for someone to lead their global business strategies in the UK as well as have input into how the business unit is run. This person will have lots of autonomy in order to translate the global strategy to the UK market and team.

You will think global and act local.

You'll have the benefit of having the backing of a larger family-owned business and be given lots of resources, support and a wider business scale to help you succeed.

The UK team and business have been run in more of a siloed fashion in recent times and you will be able to join the team at an exciting time where you can have a positive impact.

The goal will be to double the sales turnover to £20m by diversifying the customer base, analysing the range of products including pricing, driving operational efficiencies, and utilising the scale of the wider business and global strategies.

Building long-term relationships with horticulture businesses and growers will be key to the success of this position. As is, leading and managing the internal team.
