What's the job?

This newly created role is for a successful family business, which are growing and growing (pardon the pun) and need someone new.

You'll have an existing client base in the North of the UK, but you'll enjoy the challenge of developing new clients.

You'll have a mix of on-site customer visits, phone calls and emails to keep these relationships as strong as possible.

As well as being on the road, you'll spend a lot of time on the nursery with the stock, so when you're selling the plants, you know exactly how good they truly are.

You'll be working for competitive prices, reporting results, and maximising new opportunities, but this is something you could do with your eyes closed.

What do I need?

Whether you're already experienced in sales, or an expert in plants, we want to hear from you.

You could be growing plants, working in garden retail, or working as a sales rep for horticultural products - if you want a change with real training opportunities, then this could be great for you.

Passion and enthusiasm are so important for this role. The business is incredibly passionate about what they do, and they want this in you.

What about the travel?

This role has a nice blend of onsite work and travelling to visit customers

During peak sales period, you'll be on the road roughly 3 times a week. You need to be happy to stay away from home, otherwise they'll be painfully long days!

During the off season, most of your time will be spent in the nursery in Norfolk. This is where you'll get your admin done, see the plants growing and get an opportunity to be with the team.
