About the Role

Are you looking to grow your horticulture career in one of London's most established and respected garden maintenance teams?

We're working with a leading garden design and maintenance company that's expanding their operations across London. They're setting up a new team and looking for passionate, semi-skilled horticulturists to join them People with a solid foundation in horticulture who are ready to take the next step in their careers.

You'll be working on some of London's finest private gardens, maintaining the spaces the company has built to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with training and a genuine love for plants to gain valuable experience alongside experienced team leaders.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting with the maintenance of high-end private gardens across South-West and North London.
• Carrying out planting, setting out, and general garden maintenance to a professional standard.
• Supporting team leaders day-to-day to ensure gardens are maintained beautifully and consistently.
• Developing your skills in plant care, pruning, and border management.
• Taking part in new planting projects, including soil preparation and installation works to ensure precision and long-term plant health.
• Contributing to seasonal planting and enhancement schemes across established client gardens.

What We're Looking For

• Horticultural training (college qualification, diploma, or equivalent practical experience).
• Someone early in their horticulture career - eager to learn and grow under experienced mentors.
• A keen eye for detail and a genuine passion for plants and garden care.
• Common sense, enthusiasm, and drive - people who want to progress in a growing company.
• A driving licence is helpful but not essential.

The Offer

• £14-£16 per hour, depending on experience.
• 40-hour week:
• 8am-4pm (winter)
• 7:30am-4pm (summer)
• Primarily based in South-West and North London, with occasional work in Surrey.
• Opportunities for progression - the company is expanding, with a more teams planned for next year.
