Irrigation Manager | Soft Fruit

Would you like to work for a leading berry grower? We are working with such a company as they seek an organised and self-motivated Irrigation Manager to join their team. You will be responsible for vital aspects of the irrigation process as well as motivating and managing staff.

Your responsibilities:
- Watering and feeding of the crops
- Irrigation field set up and irrigation system computer run off
- Data collection - record, LEAF and soil analysis
- Irrigation labour coordination and management
- Irrigation materials purchasing
- Irrigation workload planning
- Assist the Farm Manager in maintaining accurate and appropriate irrigation records.
- Acquire a good understanding of all irrigation cost structures, including budgets and targets.

The Person:
We are looking for candidates who have previous experience of working in irrigation and are confident in their ability. You will have excellent communication skills and be highly organised. You will also be flexible and understand that you may occasionally need to work longer hours due to the seasonal nature of the role.
