Are you a junior buying operating in the horticulture sector? Do you have a track record of building categories and supporting a business through periods of growth? If so, we'd like to hear from you.

About Our Client
Our client is a leading supplier into the garden and leisure industry who have seen rapid expansion in recent years. They have a real passion for what they do to deliver the best possible range of products, at affordable prices, with great customer service. They import many of their products from China and the Far East and work closely with suppliers there to develop new product ranges and ensure the best possible quality. They are constantly innovating and have moved their great service and offering to include plants. They guarantee all of their products and back their own brands to compete with any others on quality and value for money.

About the Role
This role will support the buying team within the business. You will be given a range of plant products to look after and buy for. You will be able to support the team to deliver commercial results and savings, whilst building close relationships with suppliers and growers. You will utilise your experience to support the buying of quality plants. Experience in an online environment would be considered advantageous.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a proven junior level buyer with plant and eCommerce experience as well as buying from the UK growers. You will be an effective buyer and understand buying plant products from different UK/European sources. You will be able to show your experience and track record of supporting the delivery of savings and commercial results. You will be able to show your experience in eCommerce.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a minimum, you will need to have experience in buying/supporting a buying team in the garden/horticulture sector. You will possess a great attitude and be able to build long-term relationships with suppliers.
