Their infrastructure and utility division is dedicated to their work with significant players in the sector covering the whole of the UK and various sub-sectors of the industry. The majority of their work is focused on power and transmission networks and renewable projects, though other infrastructure and energy projects are also in their remit.

About the Job

As a Lead Land Consents Surveyor, your role will be pivotal in facilitating the smooth running of our client's infrastructure projects and operations across East Anglia and the South East. This is a Senior Management position based in our clients Bury St Edmunds office, and your key responsibilities will include the line management of the delivery team and involvement with the wider strategy of the business, as well as supporting with hands on tasks in all aspects of the land consents process. You'll need to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues and third-party stakeholders and regulatory authorities, and resolve disputes and address concerns when these arise.

The Ideal Candidate

Ideally, you'll be an experienced Land Consents Surveyor, with a number of years' experience in a comparable role. Our client will also consider candidates from the wider surveying sector who perhaps have relevant experience in the utilities and infrastructure sector in the past. MRICS or AssocRICS status is highly desirable. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential along with exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
