We are currently working in conjunction with one of the largest food processing business in the UK. As a result of an internal promotion, they are currently looking to appoint an experienced Management Accountant to work at one of their sites based in Peterborough.

Key Responsibilities:
Compiling financial forecast for the end to end supply chain.
Reporting on weekly accounts.
Highlighting to the board any risks to the P&L.
Managing month-end and ensuring completion to deadlines and analysing P&L performance and providing commentary to the Finance Manager.
Business partnering
Identify, define and track cost saving initiatives to drive down the cost.
Assisting with the preparation of the yearly budget alongside the Business Unit Managers and the Central Finance team.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and external standards.

Skills & Experience:
Qualified/Part qualified accountant (CIMA / ACA / ACCA)
Experience in a fast-paced finance environment working to tight deadlines.
Strong analytical skills (MS Excel)
Experience in an FMCG food business supplying retail.
Ability to build and develop relationships.
Ability to influence stakeholders.
Strong leadership qualities
Good management skills
