Managing Director | Fresh Food | Lincolnshire

This is an opportunity to join a fresh food business with a lot of prospects and potential. The business is at a point where they are looking to make a change and are therefore seeking a new Managing Director to help with the strategy and drive this change through. They have a fundamentally strong offering but competition is increasing and effective leadership is essential. They have a strong business and reputation, which makes it much easier for someone to step in and get started straight away.

The Role:-
The Covid-19 outbreak has highlighted some opportunities for them and they are looking for someone who can help to point the business in the right direction in order to capitalise on them effectively. You will be responsible for delivering growth and ensuring the structure is correct to enable this to happen. You will be working with an experienced team and will be responsible for ensuring everyone understands what is required of them to drive things forward.

The Candidate:-
This role is probably not going to be for someone looking to step into their first Managing Director's role but they do need someone who is hands on and used to operating with a small but effective team around them. You will likely be an experienced Divisional MD or Business Unit Director, looking for a new challenge. You will need a proven track record of driving things forward, of being able to empower teams and manage a range of internal stakeholders as well. This is a great opportunity to get into a business with huge potential, a lot of which is as yet unrealised and ready to be tapped.
