I'm working with a company that values innovation, teamwork, and dedication. Join them and become part of a dynamic team that's committed to excellence and continuous improvement. They are a leading manufacturer of gardening products, with over 800 employees!

They have a State of the art production Facility, with a strong focus on sustainability to reduce environmental impact on the local community. They often contribute to the local community, getting involved with educational incentives, local school partnerships and community projects, giving back to the residents of the area.

Why Join Them?

Step into a role where you'll be at the heart of the operations, ensuring our high-speed production lines run smoothly and efficiently. As a key player in the maintenance team, you'll report directly to the Maintenance Manager and take charge of all reactive and proactive maintenance work across the site. Your expertise will help them maintain the highest standards of performance and safety.

What You'll Do:

  • Safety First: Execute all maintenance tasks with a keen eye on employee safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Dynamic Maintenance: Provide both reactive and planned maintenance to keep our machinery in top shape.
  • Boost Efficiency: Collaborate with production line managers to minimise downtime and enhance output efficiency.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed maintenance records, ensuring all documentation is current and comprehensive.
  • Cost-Effective Solutions: Help manage a cost-effective spare parts store.
  • Diagnostic Excellence: Utilise your fault-finding skills to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on high-speed process lines.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Expert: You are an electrically biased, multi-skilled engineer with solid experience in a production environment.
  • Certified Professional: Apprentice trained or holding an NVQ Level 2 in Engineering.
  • Independent Thinker: You can work independently, make confident decisions, and take initiative.
  • Flexible Team Player: Willing to work overtime when needed to keep operations running smoothly.
  • SCADA Experience: Whether this is Fault-finding or Programming
