Job Title: National Account Executive (Food & Fresh Produce)
Location: Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire
Salary: £40,000
Pattern: Hybrid - some weekend cover required - WFH available

This is a great opportunity in the Food & Fresh produce industry to onboard with a rapidly growing business who are moving from strength to strength!

This position would be ideal for someone whose had footing in the Food & Fresh Produce industry and is now ready to accelerate their career progression!!

We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, can bring structure to ambiguity, and performs at their best when the pressure is on and timelines are tight.


Key responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with retail accounts, acting as the key contact for buyers and stakeholders.
  • Support the National Account Manager in delivering against commercial targets and account strategies.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and provide actionable insights to customers.
  • Work closely with supply chain teams to support weekly supply planning and forecasting, ensuring product availability aligns with retailer demand.
  • Maintain high service levels by proactively managing stock flow, resolving issues quickly, and keeping customers fully informed during peak or challenging periods.
  • Develop joint business plans to ensure alignment with customer objectives and company goals.
  • Prepare and deliver account presentations, sales forecasts, and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including supply chain, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
  • Monitor competitor activity and maintain a proactive approach to account management.

Ideal Candidate:

  • There is some flex around these criteria at present, but a candidate with a background in Account Management, Buying or Supply Chain Management would all be relevant here.
  • Someone who has started their Food & Fresh Produce career and is serious about progressing their career to the next step!
  • The only non-negotiable would be: Experience within the FMCG (Food & Fresh Produce) environment.
