Location: South West

About the Role
We're looking for a highly organised Nursery Manager to oversee plant production across contracted nurseries and an internal nursery programme. You'll ensure plant orders, forecasting and quality standards are met, while maintaining strong communication with nursery partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage plant orders using the nursery scorecard.
- Build understanding of clean stock systems used by nurseries.
- Forecast plant needs up to two years ahead.
- Communicate shortages or delays to Production.
- Lead and manage plant claims.
- Work with the Nursery Coordinator on programme objectives.
- Update the Genetics Director on expected shortfalls.
- Ensure nursery protocols are followed and update where needed.
- Delegate plant logistics to the Nursery Coordinator.
- Lead the annual nursery budget process.
- Maintain regular communication with nurseries and travel to sites as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience managing timelines, suppliers and protocols.
- Right to work in the UK and a valid driving licence.
- Willingness to travel to multiple nursery locations.
