Role Overview:

As a Packaging Technologist, you will spearhead packaging projects and drive innovation, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and packaging partners. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and presenting opportunities for packaging innovation.
• Leading packaging projects across their UK sites, ensuring alignment with product requirements and packing facilities.
• Championing sustainability initiatives across all packaging endeavors.
• Conducting rigorous packaging trials to assess suitability and performance under diverse conditions.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to facilitate seamless project delivery aligned with business objectives.

Candidate Requirements: We are seeking candidates with:

• Packaging development experience and a strong grasp of packaging components, suppliers, and manufacturing processes.
• Ideally, knowledge of working withing food manufacturing within packaging.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proactive and creative problem-solving approach.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines.
