About the Client

This company is a long-established specialist supplier of trees, shrubs and accessories to both trade and private clients across southern England. The company has a reputation for the supply of high-quality plants supported by helpful and expert advice. Both private and trade customers alike can view and select from many trees, conifers, and shrubs available all the year round in containers. Many of these are at mature sizes and we hold probably one of the biggest selections of trees in the South East.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to join our 15 staff in a small, successful company, in a sales role on our busy retail site. This role involves working in a small team of 4 people focussing primarily on the retail aspects of our business, meeting and greeting and advising visiting customers on their choice of plants and dealing with resulting sales transactions. You will also undertake work as necessary on the nursery. This role will involve weekend work.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a person with suitable experience in a similar role, who also has A good level of plant knowledge, preferably including trees, with the ability to give good practical guidance to customers on plant selection and care. Someone who has good customer service and inter-personal skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.
