Procurement Manager
Are you looking to take a step up in your procurement career? Do you want more exposure to growers and the leadership of a business?

I'm currently looking for a procurement manager who can work closely with an established base of growers to ensure the quantity of fruit to fulfil busy programmes is available at all times. It will work with the growers daily. You will be intertwined with the growers and work closely with them in a fast-paced environment to deliver for demanding retail customers.

This could offer the right individual the opportunity to step up from a procurement, supply chain or commercial role where you're not close to the grower/customer base or are only dealing with 1-2 growers. The role will need you to travel to see the growers and build stronger relationships. Travel can be expected for about 4-6 weeks a year.

You will create supply plans and deliver programmes whilst checking every element of the supply chain to be as efficient as possible. A key part of the role will be ensuring that the internal sales and operational teams are constantly up to date with the latest information and forecasts. You will work through any quality issues with the grower for the fruit upon arrival in the UK.
