Procurement Manager | Exotic Fruit | Lincolnshire

About Our Client
We are currently working with a progressive and passionate fresh produce business who have made huge strides forward in recent years. As a result, they have a requirement for an experienced Procurement Manager to get under the skin of the whole supply chain to ensure it is running as effectively as possible.

About the Job
This role will have responsibility for the procurement of some key fruit categories. With an established grower base, you will need to work closely with them to develop the supply chain, ensuring stock levels are maintained. You will manage forecasts and budgets, collaborating with the Commercial and Technical teams to gain buy-in. You will also be required to maintain close links with the retailer.

The Ideal Candidate
You will have at least 5 years' experience of sourcing fresh produce, ideally Avocadoes and/or Mangoes, from around the world and be used to a mixture of air and sea freighting. The business works very closely with all of its partners, so experience of developing, not just managing, supplier relationships is important. You will have a clear advantage if you can speak another European language - Spanish is preferable.
