Have you worked with Vision Systems before? I'm looking for a Project Manager with Vision System experience to lead high-value projects (typically 3-5 projects at £1m CAPEX).

You'll be involved in managing cross functional teams, liaising with Clients and Suppliers to ensure successful delivery of every single project from concept through to final handover. This role is delivery focused and will require time out on customer sites, however you'll also be ensuring timeframes, managing budgets, and ensuring the highest of safety and technical standards.

Experience with Vision Systems is a must have!

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of automation and vision projects, ensuring timing, quality, scope, and budget are achieved.
• Coordinate internal teams and external partners to align with project goals.
• Manage risks, compliance, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee planning, commissioning, and integration of industrial vision systems.
• Maintain regular communication with internal stakeholders and client contacts.
• Support handover, reporting, and final acceptance activities.

Candidate Profile

Essential

• 5-10 years' experience in managing engineering or automation projects.
• Proven ability to deliver multiple £1m-scale projects simultaneously.
• Experience with industrial vision systems.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled vision platforms.
• Engineering qualification or equivalent technical background.
• Strong organisational and communication skills, with flexibility for weekly client travel.
• Experience working with food manufacturers.

Desirable

• Project management certification.
• Electrical/controls engineering background.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other structured delivery frameworks.
