About Our Client
We are currently working with a progressive and passionate fresh food manufacturing business who have also been at the forefront of their sector. As a result, of internal promotion they are now on the look out for an experienced Buyer to get under the skin of the whole supply chain to ensure it is running as effectively as possible.

About the Job
This role will have responsibility for the procurement of some of their key food areas including Fresh Produce, Protein and Ingredients. With an established supplier base, you will need to work closely with them to develop the supply chain, ensuring stock levels are maintained. You will manage forecasts and budgets, collaborating with the Commercial and Technical teams to gain buy-in.

The Ideal Candidate
Industry experience goes without saying, but team fit is going to be crucial. They work as a very close knit team without any egos. They have a very open culture of being able to positively challenge one another and you will need to be able to fit in with this.. The business works very closely with all of its partners, so experience of developing, not just managing, supplier relationships is important. You will have a clear advantage if you can speak another European language - Spanish is preferable but not essential.
