About Our Client

Our client is a food manufacturer who supplies the major retailers. The business is looking to strengthen the quality function with the appointment of 2 QAs working Monday - Friday.

About the Job

As QA you will ensure the safety and quality of all products through the implementation of Site Food Safety & Quality Assurance systems. You will carry out QA and QC checks and tasks in all areas of the production chain including temperature, specification, weight, traceability, calibration, cleaning and tasting checks. To maintain all certification schemes such as BRC and Red Tractor. To assist in factory visits from customers and gaining and maintaining approval ratings.

The Ideal Candidate

Ideally, you will have a degree in Food Science. Have at least 1 years of experience working in a food manufacturing technical / Quality role. Good experience and understanding of Quality Systems and Quality Management, Level 3 in Food Safety & HACCP would be good and working knowledge of BRC. This role is a Monday - Friday shift.
