Job Title: Quality Control Technician
About The Company:
The company in question is a leading supplier of high-quality bakery ingredients, serving the needs of bakeries and food manufacturers across the country.

What they are looking for is a detailed-orientated Quality Control Technician to join the team. It will be your job to maintain certain standards for our bakery ingredients. You will also be working closely with the production and quality assurance team to uphold the company's commitment to excellence in every product.
- Perform routine quality checks and inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- To assist and support the FSQ and site teams to achieve technical control and business plan targets.
- Monitor and record data related to product specifications and quality control standards.
- Conduct sensory evaluations to assess the taste, texture, and appearance of bakery ingredients.
- Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities to quality standards.
- Assist in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions when quality issues arise.
- Support in maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment.
- Ensure adherence to hygiene and safety standards in the quality control laboratory.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and quality initiatives.
- Degree or equivalent in Food related subject.
- A scientific discipline, which included elements of chemistry and biology and/or 5 years' experience in an analytical laboratory environment
- At least 5 years worth of experience in quality control or technical, preferably within the food industry.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow standardized procedures
- Experience in other analytical techniques such as GC MS would be an advantage
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- HACCP Intemdiate standard
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis
- Basic knowledge of food safety and quality regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a team and take initiative to drive quality improvements.
