The Role:
The Quality Assurance Manager will have the responsibility for overseeing the performance of quality control throughout the facility. This will involve instructing operational staff on the parameters to be checked and recorded, monitoring that checks have been correctly carried out and verifying that all audit documentation is completed.
Success in the role will require establishment of good working relationships with the operational managers of the third party supplier.
This new role will increase the company's team at this major production location and will be supported by existing personnel, all of whom possess an in depth knowledge of table grapes. Training will be arranged to bring the successful candidate quickly up to an effective level.

Requirements:
Essential -
The candidate should have had a minimum of three years working in a fresh produce or food production environment.
You should be able to demonstrate successful working in a team environment and that they have operated effectively within that team.
A high level of numeracy is required together with an advanced ability to use standard software packages.
A key requirement is the ability to work within a fast paced environment and to make measured decisions under pressure.
Confident presentation skills.
Valid driving license.
Desirable -
Experience of supervising a small team.
Willingness to adapt to flexible working patterns according to the needs of the business.
