We are working with one of the UK's leading retailers in order to find an outstanding QA Manager / Technical Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic chance for those that are looking for a job in a corporate, professional and fast paced environment. Reporting into the Quality Assurance Director, you'll develop, recommend, implement and manage solutions that improve the collation and efficiency of QA data. Much of your role involves close collaboration with both internal and external partners.

The Job:
You'll help Buyers to develop testing requirements across different foods, to ensure that the business is 'first to market' with quality products at the lowest prices.
Management of external testing
Developing best practices
Take ownership of your product categories
Team management
Build good working relationships with suppliers


The Candidate:
You will have a Food Science / Food Technology / Food Engineering / Health & Nutrition degree 2.1 or above.
You will have experience of working within a senior quality / technical role within the FMCG.
You will be a strong leader, and have the ability to motivate your team and develop their knowledge and initiative.
Have excellent attention to detail
Be driven with a can do attitude
Excellent knowledge of food labelling and food safety
Solid track record of delivering projects on time and in full

This is an excellent and unusually varied role that plays a key role in the businesses reputation and success. This is a 24 month fixed term contract.
