Quality Controller | Fruit | £8.75hr - £9.40hr DOE

My client is a leading grower and supplier of fresh produce into major retailers. They are looking for a full time Quality Controller to support the Senior Quality team with day-to-day checks and procedures to ensure product integrity from intake to release.

The Job:

Reporting to the Senior Quality Controller, you will be responsible for:
Daily quality procedures
Calibration of equipment
Training of Quality Assistants and QCs
Training of packing staff
Maintain SOPs and comply with legal requirements.
Perform other relevant duties when required.

You:

Previous experience of fresh produce, ideally top fruit.
Previous experience in a QA role is ideal, but not essential.
Excellent communication skills
Able to work as part of a team.
Good levels of Maths, English and IT skills

Shifts are 7.15am - 4pm, with weekend cover on a rotational basis

£8.75 - £9.40 depending on your level of experience
