About the Client

This company is a long-established specialist supplier of trees, shrubs and accessories to both trade and private clients across southern England. The company has a reputation for the supply of high-quality plants supported by helpful and expert advice. Both private and trade customers alike can view and select from many trees, conifers, and shrubs available all the year round in containers. Many of these are at mature sizes and we hold probably one of the biggest selections of trees in the South East.

About the Role

This is an opportunity to join our 15 staff in a small, successful company, in a sales role to proactively grow our customer base. The role involves working in a small team of 3 people focussing on increasing our business of the supply of plants to projects for both trade and domestic customers. This involves the preparation and submission of quotations, negotiation of orders, and taking a proactive approach.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a person with suitable experience in a similar role and with the ability to potentially take on a more senior role in the future. A strong knowledge on the industry and customers is essential. As well as having a proactive and driven work ethic to deliver results. Customer service is key, and this candidate will need to be confident in dealing with questions and potential issues.
