Are you a passionate and experienced retail manager with a love for seasonal products and outdoor living? Do you have the leadership skills to step up and support the Garden Centre Manager when needed?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a thriving and well-respected garden centre group as a Seasonal & Leisure Manager.
About the Role
As the Seasonal & Leisure Manager, you will take charge of the vibrant leisure and seasonal products, which include garden furniture, BBQs, Christmas ranges, outdoor living products, and tills. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring these high-profile areas of the centre deliver outstanding sales, customer service, and visual appeal.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and motivating your team to provide exceptional customer service.
- Driving sales across the leisure, seasonal, and tills departments.
- Overseeing merchandising standards to create inspiring and shoppable displays.
- Managing stock levels, ordering seasonal products, and ensuring excellent availability.
- Coaching and developing your team to enhance product knowledge and performance.
- Running your departments efficiently and profitably.
- Supporting the Garden Centre Manager and stepping up to oversee the centre in their absence.
About You
- An experienced retail manager, ideally with garden centre or leisure sector experience.
- Commercially focused, with a strong drive to grow sales and profitability.
- A confident leader who can inspire, coach, and develop their team.
- Highly organised with excellent stock management and merchandising skills.
- Hands-on and flexible, especially during busy seasonal periods.
- Ready to take on extra responsibility and help lead the centre.
