Senior Commercial Manager | Chilled Foods | Retail

We are working with an industry leading food manufacturer who are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join their team and to work closely with one of their key retail customers. They have a long standing relationship with their customer and they are keen to find someone who understands their needs and how best to deliver this on an on-going basis.

The Role:-
You will be working very closely with the Senior Commercial team to deliver the commercial strategy and ensure the ongoing excellent customer service they have always delivered. You will be tasked with building a strong working relationship with the customer in order to achieve the best results for both businesses. Clear communication is crucial as there are a number of divisions and sites to keep in contact with to ensure best outcomes.

The Candidate:-
You will have a proven track record in commercial management within a retail customer facing setting (M&S, Waitrose or Sainsbury's experience would be a big advantage). Chilled food experience (ideally food manufacturing) is important as there are a number of complexities to understand, so previous experience of this will be a big help. You will be need to be a self-starter and a good team player to really get the most of out of the role and the people around you.
