Our client is a progressive fresh produce company supplying the leading UK multiples. They are now looking to appoint a Senior Technical Manager to the technical team

Responsible for providing technical support within the senior team in order that the standards for quality, safety, statutory compliance, integrity are maintained and commercial improvements are delivered.

The role

To develop quality, safe, legal and innovative products

To achieve cost reductions and quality improvements

To effectively manage and build relations with key internal and external stakeholders, customer and suppliers

Ensuring all production sites are audited and fully compliant to relevant standards

Management of the technical team

The candidate

Minimum of five years Fresh Produce technical experience within a senior technical role

Degree in a relevant subject

Good working knowledge of HACCP, BRC, Retailer Standards are a given

Experience of supplier auditing

Excellent attention to detail
