About the Job:

This role will focus on the quality, safety and legality elements of inbound ingredients and finished product supply to shops. It will involve supplier and product management, implementation of technical and quality standards and providing support to shops and customer services.

The role will give you the opportunity to establish, maintain, review and continuously improve all systems, processes and standards for food safety and due diligence. The role will give you the autonomy to manage your supply base whilst dealing with quality and supply chain challenges to maintain excellent quality. There is also potential line management responsibility as part of this role.


Ideal Candidate:

For this role you will have drive and ambition combined with over 5 years' experience in high care food technical roles, a Food Technology qualification at degree level and in depth knowledge of ingredient procurement, NPD and supplier management. Experience within or supplying a major retailer would be considered an asset. Attention to detail and problem solving are invaluable skills along with the ability to juggle and prioritise a varied workload. You must have a positive attitude and outlook.
