About Our Client

Our client is a well-known packer of horticulture lines into the retail sector. They are looking for a senior technologist / technical manager to manage the technical needs for a specific customer, including growers and suppliers.

About the Job

As senior technologist, you will work closely with colleagues to drive product quality whilst reducing customer complaints and waste. You will lead your account technically and drive research from NPD and packaging concepts. You will work closely with growers to ensure product quality is maintained at all times and lead end of season reviews.

The Ideal Candidate

For this role you will currently be a Senior Technologist / technical manager, ideally, you will have experience of working within horticulture. You will have an understanding of fresh produce, working with growers, suppliers and customers. You will have a proven track record of driving quality standards forward and improving processes within a FMCG business. You will build good working relationships internally and externally within the business.
