Senior Trader

We are recruiting for a leading fresh produce wholesaler located in the heart of Evesham, with a commitment to delivering the highest quality fruits and vegetables.

What are they looking for?

A motivated and experienced salesperson to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fresh produce, experienced in sales, and a knack for business development. This role involves managing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with clients to drive sales growth and expand our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the fresh produce sector.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and expand market reach.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of high-quality produce.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing client queries and resolving issues promptly.
• Prepare and present sales and business development reports to management.

Requirements

• You will be required to work onsite 5 days per week.
• A proven background in winning new business within the fresh produce/food industry
• Willing to participate in occasional weekend work (Saturday mornings)

Salary

£40,000pa - £60,000pa depending on experience
