Multi Skilled Shift Engineer | Crewe | 4 on 4 off Days and Nights (12 hr shifts) | £45,500 + Overtime opportunity.

Are you a qualified and experienced engineer? Are you looking for a rewarding and challenging role in the food industry? You might be the perfect fit for our Shift Engineer position at a leading food manufacturer.

As a Shift Engineer, you will work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, alternating between days and nights (6 am-6 pm or 6 pm-6 am). You'll be responding to breakdowns, carrying out maintenance and repairs, supporting production teams, and undertaking projects to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

What we require:

• A recognised qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Level 3) - multi-skilled

• At least 2 years of experience as an engineer in a manufacturing or maintenance setting.

• Knowledge of PLCs (Siemens S7, Mitsubishi), inverters (Lenz, Mitsubishi, ABB), robots (ABB), PUWER, and supply of machinery regulations 2008

• A recognised health and safety qualification - IOSH

• Food safety awareness - HACCP

• Good computer literacy

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
