Site Operations Manager | Crop Store

Our client is a well-established seed agriculture business, operating across all aspects of crop production, seed production and grain marketing. We are currently looking for a Site Operations Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site; ensuring Health, Safety, Environment and QA standards are met in line with site specific plans.

In addition, you will manage upper tier COMAH site, coordinate and deliver a high standard of distribution and customer service across crop protection and delivery of seed and fertiliser; while creating and maintaining a great place to work culture. You will be managing a large facility with an Assistant Manager, Drivers and Operatives reporting into you.

It is highly desirable that you come from a relevant agriculture operations and management background with crop and seed store keeping experience; however if not you could come from the food or fresh produce sector. Knowledge of BASIS / COMAH / TASCC would be highly desirable.

Ultimately you will be an excellent people manager with superb people skills!
