Site Surveyor/Project Manager | Cambridgeshire | Landscaping & Garden Design

Following superb and consistent growth we are seeking an experienced site surveyor/project manager of a high-end landscaping company to grow the company.

Our client

Providing high-end landscaping services for private individuals and businesses, based in Cambridgeshire they service the surrounding area including north London, Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire. Providing full site surveys, planning, planting design, and building.

A small independent company, they provide a personal but professional service.

The role

As part of an expansion plan, we are looking for someone to join the team. The role covers the full life cycle of projects. Meeting customers on-site to provide plans and ideas to the customer. Liaising with the design team, procurement of materials, oversight of the project, floating across teams.

You would be responsible for managing both the customer and their needs while ensuring the project keeps on schedule, and stays on budget.

  • Visit potential clients, survey sites, assess a sites potential to meet client requirements.

  • Discuss requirements with clients, complete a design plan, take photographs and measurements.

  • Determine soil type, slope, drainage, exposure, and existing structures, features, roads, and utilities that will affect the project.

  • Prepare and present quotations in a complete and professional manner, according to company standards.

Projects could run from a couple of weeks to a couple of months and a value of over 200k

The candidate

You will be a natural and articulate communicator, able to jump between the landscape team and clients with a high level of organisation.

Experienced in a customer-facing role dealing with high net worth clients. Ensure procurement and reconciliation of materials is carried out in accordance with company procedures to prevent delays and minimize costs.

Ideally, you will have experience in hard and soft ladcaping focusing on project management.
