Job description

I'm recruiting for a well-established organisation that's looking for a Supply Chain Assistant to join their small and supportive office team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in stock planning and supplier management who enjoys keeping things organised, accurate, and on track.

The role:

  • Supporting procurement and stock planning using a bespoke management system (training provided)

  • Monitoring and adjusting purchase plans to ensure goods arrive on time and in the correct volumes

  • Communicating with suppliers and colleagues about any changes or variances

  • Reconciling order confirmations with planned purchases

  • Keeping everything running smoothly across supply chain operations

What we're looking for:

  • A self-starter who can work with minimal supervision

  • Strong IT skills, especially in Excel

  • Experience in stock management and planning (essential)

  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with suppliers
