About Our Client
Our client is a leading manufacturer of fresh/chilled food. They supply the major UK food retailers, discounters and food service markets with a variety of products. They have a great reputation for quality and service levels and have built real, collaborative relationships with their customers. They have multiple locations across the UK, each with state of the art facilities that have seen significant investment. Our client is committed to delivering products which add value to their customers and consumers.

About the Role
This role will focus on the commercial relationship and supply chain for our clients' retail customers. The role will be home-based with travel to our clients' manufacturing sites on occasion. You will utilise your supply chain and forecasting experience to drive efficiencies and make the most of any commercial opportunities within each customer. You will handle a lot of the day-to-day supply chain and support the senior supply chain manager in delivering results with the grocers. You will be adept at using Excel and forecasting experience would be a real positive. You will use these skills to ensure a sufficient supply of products to meet the demands of consumers, whilst simultaneously reducing waste in a very fast-paced and short shelf-life product environment.

The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have supply chain / commercial support experience in a food retailer/food retail supplier. You will be hungry to progress your career and potentially move into a commercial or senior supply chain role in the future. You will be a strong communicator and be able to stand on your own two feet and be self-assured. You will be able to problem-solve and work closely with internal/external teams to deliver.

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, as a bare minimum, you will need to be confident and a strong communicator. This role will involve working on advanced Excel spreadsheets so practical experience in using VLookUp's, Pivot Tables etc will be a must.

Application Process
Our client wants to fill this role ASAP and will likely move quickly for the right person.
