About

I am currently working with a growing fresh produce business that is looking to expand its supply chain team. If you enjoy working for or want to join a business focused on delivering the highest quality produce to customers, this could be the role for you.

The business is experiencing strong growth and is looking to bring in someone with the right mindset and attention to detail to support its supply chain operations.

The Role

So, as the supply chain controller your responsibilites will be as follows:

  • Coordinate daily operational activity in line with customer demand and business capacity

  • Process orders and release stock to production in a timely manner

  • Monitor orders and forecasts to support effective short- and medium-term planning

  • Use customer systems and data to support forward planning requirements

  • Raise purchase orders and support inbound goods administration

  • Carry out regular stock reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies

  • Maintain accurate stock control and ensure effective stock rotation

  • Support the smooth running of operations and help resolve scheduling issues

What I am looking for

Ideally, you will have experience within the fresh produce or food manufacturing industry. While there are no specific qualification requirements, experience in stock control or supply chain operations would be a significant advantage.

Strong Excel skills are highly desirable. Attention to detail, responsiveness and a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn and develop, are key qualities for success in this role.
