Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a Technical and Commercial Development Manager to enhance a young business further.

What you'll be doing

As the Technical and Commercial Development Manager, you will focus on developing a fertiliser range within the commercial sector. You will provide expert advice on fertiliser selection, application methods, and nutrient management practices based on soil analysis, crop requirements, and environmental considerations. You will also identify and pursue new business opportunities, working to develop and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, presenting our products, and negotiating contracts.

You will join a team with extensive experience in the industry.

You will also be able to get to head office in Northamptonshire occasionally for meetings.

What you'll need

  • Proven experience in technical sales related to fertilisers and crop nutrition.
  • In-depth knowledge of fertiliser products, soil health, and crop management practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to contribute to the growth and development of the business.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret soil test results and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client visits, field trials, and industry events.
