The business

We are working with a fresh produce importer in the heart of Kent, who are looking for an experienced technical assistant to work in the technical team.

The role

As Technical Assistant you will provide cover for the Technical Manager as and when required. Assist production teams with resolving quality-related concerns.

Assist the Technical Manager in upholding GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards on site, you will update KPIs and Technical trending data e.g. complaints, update and review product specifications, complete site Internal Audits. Run packaging trials as and when required.

The candidate

The ideal candidate will currently be doing a similar role within a fresh produce business. You will have experience of HACCP and good attention to detail are a must-have. You will have a proven track record of driving quality standards forward and improving processes within a business. You will build good working relationships internal and external for the business.
