About Our Client

We are working with a leading fresh produce grower who packs a range of fresh produce for retail and foodservice customers.

About the Job

Management of all aspects of HACCP and SEDEX,
Supplier management and approval processes.
To ensure the Technical department is audit-ready at all time, in preparation for Internal, customer and third-party audits
The maintenance of raw material, semi-processed and finished product specifications (including customer specifications)
To manage and develop a Team of QA Professionals in the absence of the QA Manager

The Ideal Candidate

Ideally will have a proven track record in leadership in a food production environment and Food Safety and Quality Management. Ideally, you will a degree or similar, in food science or a related subject. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with people at all levels, and the ability to motivate people. You will have a high level of initiative to be able to make prompt, clear decisions in a pressured environment.
