About our Client

We are working with a fantastic multi-site business based in Cambridgeshire and a site in Northamptonshire who are looking to recruit an experienced Technical Manager to join the business in this period of growth and expansion.

About the Role

In this exciting Technical Manager position you will ensure compliance to BRCGS and Retailer Standards and ensure all procedures & policies within the Food Safety and Quality Manual are adhered to

Work cross-functionally to achieve "audit ready" site standard

Manage the site Internal Auditing to include GMP, glass, wood and other physical audits and support the team for improving standards

Working closely with retailer to develop the relationship and gain market share

The Ideal Candidate

For this role ideally, you will be a Technical Manager working in a food manufacturing business / fresh produce business, you will have in-depth knowledge and understanding of food manufacturing.​

Strong strategic leadership skills, including strong communication, engagement and motivation skills to drive continuous improvement in Food Safety.

Extensive practical experience of HACCP, BRCGS & retailers' code of practice

Computer literate in all Microsoft packages
