Technical Sales & Product Development Trainee | £20k - £25k

We are working with a very forward-thinking and exciting breeder, working in the agriculture/horticulture sector and developing some brilliant new products in the industry.

The Job:
As a trainee within the business, you will be assisting in a wide variety of day-to-day activities, so you get a feel for the way the business operates, in the early stages. You will then begin to get involved with coordinating product trials, both internal and external and ensuring everything runs smoothly. You will also be involved in working closely with customers and in customer meetings, following up on these meetings with relevant information and research where necessary.

You will also be working very closely with the technical side of the business on trials, understanding technical product requirements and analysis of data, both commercial and technical will be required to varying degrees in this position.

The Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
Ideally a degree in agriculture, horticulture or similar sector.
A great ability to work with people, customers, internal stakeholders and collaborative business relationships form the cornerstone of this business; so a great personality and way with people is required.
Ideally some sales/commercial experience and any Spanish speaking ability would be highly desirable.
Excellent communication, Microsoft Office and organisational skills are a necessity.
