Technologist | West Midlands
Depending on experience

We are currently recruiting for a Fresh Produce Technologist to join a well known international grower and packer based in the West Midlands. They supply a wide variety of fresh produce into the retailers, foodservice and food processors.

The Job:
Working with supply base on all technical requirements.
Spending time with the Technical Manager in a customer facing role.
Auditing supply base
Communicate supply and quality issues to the business.

The Candidate:
This role is ideally for a graduate who is looking for their 2nd job, where you have previously had a technical/quality role ideally within a fresh produce business.
You must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Be computer literate with a good knowledge of Excel.
Good understanding of BRC, HACCP, etc
Knowledge of retailers standards
You will have a full, clean driving license preferred.
This role requires foreign travel so you must be willing and able to carry out these duties.
Spanish speaking would be ideal but not a must have.
