Technologist | Fresh Produce |South Lincolnshire

We are working with a leading importer of fresh produce, due to an internal promotion we are looking for an experienced fresh produce technologist to join this fantastic business. Within this role, you work closely with the supply base to ensure they meet the quality standards of the business and ensure that all due diligence is in place for your product areas.

The role

• Keep up to date and maintain Supplier Approval files
• Communication and interaction with both supplier and customer
• Maintain monthly technical KPI's
• Manage customer specifications
• Manage monthly internal benchmarking sessions

The candidate

• You will currently be working within a technical/quality role within fresh produce
• You will have a good understanding of customer/supplier portals
• Be able to work under pressure
• Spanish language would be an advantage
• Ability to travel
